David Burton concentrates his practice in the areas of general corporate and securities laws matters, principally for privately held, emerging technology companies.  He has a broad based corporate and securities law experience, including corporate and partnership planning, mergers and acquisitions, and public and private securities transactions. He has represented numerous emerging technology companies, and investors in such companies, in seed capital and venture capital transactions as well as initial public offerings. David has been recognized by Chambers USA 2010-2011 as one of the leading practitioners in the United States for Technology: Corporate & Commercial law in Texas.
