Equal Access to Justice Champions Program through the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program.
Since the program’s inception in 2006, Haynes and Boone has handled more than 25 pro bono cases each year, and recently pledged to do so again for the next five years. >>
Haynes and Boone, LLP has been designated as a Community of Respect® by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) for its commitment to respect and diversity.
To earn the Community of Respect® designation in 2011, Haynes and Boone taught economically disadvantaged youth, many of them minorities, about the world of corporate finance; created a summer clerkship for a first-year minority law student; and mentored middle school students. In addition, the firm maintains ongoing efforts to attract minority attorney candidates under its minority attorney initiatives, women attorney initiatives, the LGBT Committee and the Minority Scholars Program. >>
